Príprava na výmenu poťahu
Removing the cover: Loosen the harness straps as far as possible. Open the harness buckle and detach the cover of the headrest. Open the poppers on the left and right side of the rear part of the cover. Unhook the elastic seam of the cover under the edge of the seat shell. Start at the sides of the seat shell. Pull the cover up and over the bezel of the strap adjuster. Feed out the harness buckle and the end of the strap from the cover. Pull the cover upwards and remove it over the headrest. The cover can now be washed. Please observe the instructions on the washing label of the cover: Re-fitting: Proceed in reverse order to put on the cover. Ensure you only use the original BRITAX RÖMER replacement seatcovers, as the seat cover is an integral part of the child safety seat.

The cover can be removed and washed using the delicate programme of the washing machine at 30°C. Please observe the instructions on the washing label of the cover. The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use caustic cleaning agents (such as solvents). The child seat must not be used without the seat cover.

Fitting the cover: Re-fitting the cover proceed in reverse order to put on the cover. Ensure that you only use the original BRITAX RÖMER replacement seatcovers, as the seat cover is an integral part of the child safety seat and fulfils important functions to ensure the smooth operation of the system. Replacement seatcovers are available from your dealer.

Care for the harness buckle: It is vital for the safety of your child that the harness buckle works correctly. Malfunctions of the harness buckle are usually caused by accumulations of dirt or foreign bodies. Malfunctions include: buckle latches ejected slowly, buckle latches not locking, or resistance when inserting. Remedy: wash out the harness buckle so that it functions properly once again. Cleaning the harness buckle: Open the buckle, adjust the seat shell to upright, remove the crotch pad and fold aside. Soak the buckle in warm water with dishwashing liquid for at least an hour, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Refit the buckle and ensure it latches securely.
Care for the occupant sensor: Fold the lower part of the cover upwards and remove dirt around the occupant sensor with a vacuum cleaner. The occupant sensor must not come in contact with water.

Disassembly and disposal: When disassembling the cover, ensure that the seat shell can be moved forward as far as possible. The shell should be disengaged from the base only after detaching all components. A key part of the process is to check that the harness straps can be completely removed from the shell.
